"I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me"
Matthew 25:36

A mother's death gives birth to a new tradition
Beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend Cynthia was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in late 2016.
One year later, she passed away during the final days of 2017.
We know from our family's own experience that no one has time to put up a Christmas tree during the holidays when you have a terminally ill relative.
So in Cynthia's memory, we deliver fully decorated "Charlie Brown Christmas trees" that we make by hand to hospital-bound cancer patients each December -- free of charge.
The Cynthia Tree project aims to bring holiday cheer to the terminally ill who are fighting for their lives, and to their families who must spend Christmas away from the comforts of home.
This is our small way to honor our beloved Cynthia and remember the way she chose to live her life -- with an open and generous heart for everyone she met.

Our mission is to deliver God's love and light to families at their darkest hours, letting them know they are not forgotten.
Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
